Stay with Me is a non-profit social service organization committed to delivering comprehensive support for individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other special educational needs (SEN).

Through structured physical training, diverse forms of art therapy, holistic developmental programs, and expert nutritional assessments with ongoing follow-up, we empower our members to steadily enhance their physical coordination and cognitive development within a nurturing, inclusive environment.

We also care deeply about the well-being of their families and caregivers, offering emotional support and companionship to help them gain strength and a sense of stability.

Purpose and Mission

Mission

Let's work together to create an inclusive environment that fosters growth, balanced development, and holistic care for individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other special educational needs (SEN), and their families or caregivers, in all aspects of physical, mental, emotional and cognitive well-being.

Vision

We provide structured physical training, motor coordination exercises, art therapy, and cognitive development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other special educational needs (SEN), integrated with expert nutritional assessments and continuous follow-up to support their overall development. We offer emotional support services for our members and their families or caregivers, including regular sessions with emotional therapists, group sharing activities, and a variety of programs—aiming to build a caring network rooted in mutual encouragement and support. We advocate for greater public awareness and understanding of individuals with Down syndrome, autism, and other special educational needs (SEN), promoting more inclusive and comprehensive support policies and services across society.

Core Value

Recent data shows that one in every six children has special educational needs (SEN), yet existing support remains significantly inadequate. Most social service organizations tend to focus on static activities, often neglecting the importance of dynamic physical development. In response, Stay with Me advocates for strengthening programs that enhance physical training, motor coordination, art therapy, and cognitive development for our members. We also provide regular nutritional guidance and dietary support, along with ongoing assessment, to ensure each member clearly understands their progress. Caregiver support is another key focus of our centre. In recent years, numerous family tragedies have occurred, often stemming from the immense pressure faced by caregivers who provide round-the-clock care for their loved ones. This constant strain can lead them to neglect their own emotional well-being, sometimes resulting in depression. In response, Stay with Me has established dedicated emotional support services and diverse activities, including regular sessions with therapists, interactive group sharing, art therapy, and interest-based workshops. These programs encourage interaction and mutual support among members. We firmly believe that fostering positive community connections and promoting a balanced lifestyle is crucial for enhancing mental well-being.

Special Education Needs (SEN) Group: 'Art Therapy Training - Clay Art'

『Art Therapy Training – Clay Art』

Through clay art therapy, we help individuals with special educational needs (SEN) train their brain, eye, and hand coordination, enabling them to achieve balanced development in body, mind, and intellect, and build confidence.

Art therapy is conducted in the form of family-based parent-child activities for SEN families. In addition to helping participants train, it also facilitates communication between parents and children, fostering mutual support and care.

Art Therapy Interest Classes

Through art therapy interest classes designed specifically for teenagers and students, we aim to transform artistic interests into a driving force for growth. During adolescence, a crucial stage of self-identity development, we provide a safe, non-judgmental space for students to explore their inner world through visual art.

The courses combine professional psychological guidance with diverse creative activities (such as painting, clay modeling, collage, fluid dynamics, and mandala painting) to help students find an outlet for emotional expression beyond academic pressure. Through creation, students learn to identify and transform negative emotions, thereby cultivating strong emotional regulation skills.

In the process of artistic expression, we emphasize that “the process is more important than the result.” When students see their ideas materialize, they not only refine their artistic appreciation but also gain a sense of accomplishment, building a solid self-identity and self-confidence from within.
